Monday June 8 midday

We just received information that John's catscan is "unremarkable". What this means is that at least according to the catscan, there has been no hemorrhage or stroke or event which could have caused additional damage to his brain. At some point soon, they may do an MRI which looks at tiny slices of the brain to see if there are any other problems but we see this as good news. He is doing well without the breathing tube and seems abundantly more comfortable without all of the tubes in him and things on his face. We will still be meeting with the neurologist at some point this afternoon because we would like to get further interpretation of what could be keeping John in this coma. One philosophy is that since John's kidneys aren't quite up to par, they may be unable to flush out residual sedation that he has received massive doses of over the past 6 days. We are patiently waiting, hoping and praying.

John and You are in our prayers. We got a call from Steve and I spoke to him today and he gave me this web site.

The news so far seems great!

John is in God's hands! We are praying for a full and complete recovery!
